Nothing in an older house is plumb. Wall units are built oversized, scribed on site, and shimmed until the reveals read straight even where the framing does not. Severn houses run from century farmhouses to new builds on the water. Both need scribing.

01What you get

Fireplace and television surrounds

Heat clearances respected, cable chases run inside the carcass, no visible wiring.

Glass and arched doors

Leaded or clear glass fronts with lit interiors for the things worth showing.

Storage that closes

Closed bases for the clutter, open shelving above, one uninterrupted line of trim.

02In Severn

Wall units for Severn homes have to handle either a century-old room that is nowhere near square or a new great room with a two-storey ceiling. Either way the unit is built to that wall, not a standard size.
