03The Details

The parts you onlynotice up close.

Anyone can hang a box on a wall. The difference shows in reveals, shelf deflection, how light sits inside a case, and where a miter lands after twenty years of Ontario humidity.

Close view of inset drawer fronts and brass pulls on a custom kitchen island

Inset fronts, 3mm reveals

Every door and drawer sits inside the frame with the same gap top to bottom. Nothing drifts as the house moves through a season.

Detail of an arched library shelf bay and solid shelf edge

Shelves that don't sag

Spans stay under 32 inches, shelves are thickened and edged in solid stock. A full run of hardcovers doesn't bow them.

Detail of illuminated glass-front wine storage and bottle racking

Light inside the case

Dimmable LED is channelled into the case sides before finish, so you see bottles and glass — not the fixture doing the work.

Detail of an arched leaded-glass cabinet door in a built-in wall unit

Arched and leaded doors

Curved rails are laminated in the shop, not cut from a board. The glass pattern carries across every door in the run.

Detail of a recessed LED-lit shelf bay in a matte black media wall unit

Recessed lighting in the bay

Strip channels are routed into the shelf underside before assembly, so the light washes the books instead of glaring back at the room.

Detail of a stone countertop overhang meeting panelled bar cabinetry

Stone meets millwork

Overhangs are blocked and levelled before the templater arrives. The seam between stone and wood stays a line, not a shadow.

04Process

Four steps.No surprises.

01

Consultation

Domenic measures on site, talks through species and hardware, and prices the room from real dimensions.

02

Design

Shop drawings and a stained sample board. Nothing gets cut until you sign the elevation.

03

Build

Built in our Orillia shop, dry-fit on the bench, finished before it ever sees your floor.

04

Install

Scribed, shimmed, and cleaned up. We leave the room finished, not almost finished.
